Due to the demanding nature of Yoga Intense (HOT), this training is only open to practitioners who have been practising 90-minute Yoga Intense (HOT) classes for at least 6 months. The applicant is required to have both physical and emotional stamina and endurance as well as the willingness to participate fully and to embrace the process completely. This Training engages, stimulates and calls upon your entire being resulting in personal transformation and growth.

This teacher training program will be spread over the course of five months and consists of eight compulsory weekends (the last of which is away on a retreat). The space in between the weekends will allow you to return to your daily life and integrate the new information, experience, and inspiration.
You will work on every aspect of a yoga practice, from learning the basics of the anatomy of the human body, understanding alignment, purpose and variations in foundational yoga poses, intelligent sequencing for a yoga class, to using your voice and body language to give precise and clear instructions. But more importantly, this program will leave you with new friends for life and a renewed confidence, focus and energy to step into the best version of yourself.
7 AM – 9 AM: 2-Hour yoga practice led by Mel with Meditation, Kriyas, Pranayama and Asana
9 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast and break
9:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Asana alignment & hands-on adjustments
12:30 PM – 2 PM: Lunch break
2 PM – 4 PM: Anatomy, History, Philosophy, Tradition, and other workshops
10 AM: 90-Minute class with Mel
11:30 AM – 1 PM: Lunch break
1 PM – 4 PM: Asana alignment and teaching technique
